‘Janwar’, a poem redefining a human being

Every poem in any language of the world is measured as strong and weak on behalf of some parameters. One such parameter is symbolism and metaphoric words. The poem ‘JANWAR’ is full of symbols and metaphors to explain the feeling about the actions and their influence on the inner and outer self of the reader. I killed the dominant animal is not only metaphor or symbol in the poem but act as a central idea to produce a complete discipline and theme in the poem.
As an analyst I believe in the fact that literature is the second tool after spirituality that is equipped to unite the world in its many dimensions. The dimensions of discussion for such subject are time, space and all existing entities. This physical relationship between physical worthy things can be the reason to produce some spiritual dimensions also.
The dimensions like feel and all the tools to drive these feels are also part of literature. The poem ‘JANWAR’ translated as ‘Animal’ written by a poet of universal thinking Satish Vimal is one among those beautiful poem which act as a lesson for spiritual guidance teaching the inner exist of spiritual and physical assets.
Before saying anything more let us all read the poem

As I killed a dominant Animal….!
All around got polluted
Oh Lord
When I killed the Animal
I died
Preacher ordered

Every thirs existence has two parts, one is physical which is visible and another is spiritual that is invisible. In human beings it is divided as ‘NAFAS and ROOH’. The above given poem is guiding all its readers about the fact that how each and every part that we posses is important. It is about to direct our mind towards the path that how each and every sect of human population can control these both the parts to increase our multidimensional vision. Poem ‘JANWAR’ is not a mere publicity stunt but guidance for the entire body and its esthetic and physical relationship with each other.
The poet has written this poem in few lines but each line is a description of any world. In first line man is lead to the world that you are nothing but the constitution of desires which are physiologically induced in you. You live as human but you are actually nothing without animal.
Metabolism provided to you is never deviated from other animals around you but you are still better than them because you are born with inherent tools which project you to control and redirect that metabolic mechanism as per your need. You posses the capacity to reduce your desires and their implementations and effect as I have done by killing them poet says.
By the frame of beauty in your inner self like soul of a person can be able to satisfy his need but can’t satisfy his external entities. He is silent and doesn’t speak much, he is alone as he desire does not match with anyone, he is fully integrated in the world which is far away from worldly involvement he is submitted to his inner voice and all those who are around him call him he is not alive.
The Poet in this prospective is guiding his reader for a universal concept that every physically unconscious is called dead because I have killed my physical part for searching a world beyond our limits.
In third perspective of the poem as an analyst I came to the fact that we should refrain ourselves from all the bad and unwanted deeds they pollute our desires ultimately whenever we kill our desires their reflection of dirt pollute our surrounding by many ways.
Sometimes as an ideology this impurity remains propagating and sometimes as reflex action in others. Initially the poem introduced human being as an animal, at the second level it brought its reader to the impacts and implementations of that animality.
Through all this spiritual approach of poem the reader can easily understand how a man could convert himself from animal to human and what can be its consequences. If symbolic approach of the poem takes its reader to say that animals we kill within ourselves reflect negativity, then we die through this act.
Through the extraction of errors we should live a life which is endless instead. But the poet is trying to illustrate his readers that every human around him is fond of this materialistic animal that he killed. He died by doing this because he was now not a part of this materialization, now he was worthless, he was called useless and he was said that you have polluted all around you and he died in this way.
In last line poet called the killing of animal as the strongest symbol to express his idea in different ways and directions. Each line defined the theme and central idea of the sentence ‘I killed a dominant animal’. In forwarded direction this sentence gives a sense of strength in human, don’t kill it.
Through the murder of this animal you will lose your strength and you will die. In reverse direction this word symbolizes the low fools in humans and must kill them. For some time it can be anti enthusiastic and against our strength but later it can re-construct our well being.
In the last line the killing of animal means the breaking the barriers and taking the path of freedom. As we are freed from one side, we are bounded from other side by those who take principles seriously and are the masters and preachers in our society. All that we do in freedom is out of order, out of sense, out of mind and we are ordered to be punished.
The last line of the poem is also about preachers and their vision. Through the word hell the poet is trying to increase the faith of his reader by saying “Preacher is on duty his way of thinking is negative as well as positive. From one end he is trying to protect the boundaries and barriers. But from other side he is declaring, he is coming to the conclusion because he is off the awareness about Lord’s will.
The poet has written both the sides of the coin about preacher. As per his last line we can say that the poet is a hard core believer of Lord and his mercy, he say preacher can only teach vise and virtue in religions but cannot be the judge of decision.
The poet is of the view in his last line “Saint and preacher are two different kinds of persons. Saint believes in Allah and his mercy but a preacher’s trust in principles and his rigidity lead him to a foolish exist, lack of belief and deviate him from the right path.
