Forces launch search operation in Sopore
Sopore : Ahead of 15th August security forces on Monday sealed many areas of Sopore town in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, witnesses said.
They said that forces jointly including Army, police and CRPF cordoned off Main Chowk, Tehsil road, Main bazaar, Shalpora and Khushal Matoo areas of Sopore and sealed all entry and exit points leading towards these areas.
Meanwhile, SP Sopore Sudhanshu Verma said that following inputs about the presence of militant’s in these areas a cordon and search operation (CASO) was launched.
The CASO later ended peacefully.
