Gunfight breaks out in Rajouri village
Srinagar, August 06: A fierce gunfight broke out between militants and security forces in Thanamandi area in district Rajouri on Friday.
Reports said that joint team of Police and Army launched a cordon and search operation in Thanamandi.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering a gunfight.
A senior police officer also confirmed about the exchange of fire between militants and security forces.(GNS)
