Sgr-Leh highway closed for second day
Ganderbal: The Srinagar-Leh highway remained closed for the second consecutive day on Saturday as a result of which hundreds of vehicles were stranded at Sonamarg and Manimarg.
According to the reports, the traffic on the highway was affected for the second day due to landslides followed by torrential rains on Pani Matha, Mandir Mood, Bajri Nala along Zojila.
A Traffic Police official at Sonamarg said that the work was underway to remove debris at these three places. He further said that it is not possible for traffic to ply on the highway today.
