IED diffused on Jammu-Rajouri national highway
Rajouri, Jul 31: Vehicular traffic on Jammu-Rajouri-Poonch National Highway was suspended for around 3 hours on Saturday after security forces recovered an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) on the crucial roadlink.
Officials said that a specific information was received by police that suspicious movement has taken place in Dalogra area along highway in Rajouri.
“Traffic was immediately suspended and an operation was launched during which the security forces detected an IED,” the officials said.
They said that the bomb disposal squad (BDS) of police defused the IED while the entire area is under Cordon and searches are going on—(KNO)
