Sopore encounter continues as one militant is killed, ops on
Srinagar, July 23: One militant has been killed in the ongoing encounter at Warpora area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, police aid Friday.
A police spokesman tweeted that one militant has been killed during the ongoing encounter while as the identity of the militant is yet to be ascertained.
As per the sources two LeT militants including a top commander and a foreigner were believed to trapped.
A joint team of Police, Army’s 22 RR and CRPF had launched operation on a specific input about presence of some militants in the Warpora.
