Two killed another injured in Sopore road mishap

Sopore, July 09: Two people were killed and another sustained injuries after a motorcycle on which they were traveling met with an accident in north Kashmir’s Sopore village on Thursday late evening.
Reports said that bike rider died on the spot after a bike on which they were traveling met with an accident at Botingoo area of Sopore.
In the mishap two pillion riders sustained severe injuries and both were rushed to SDH Sopore where from both referred to Srinagar hospital for advance treatment.
Meanwhile, a police officer also confirmed the mishap and identified deceased as Azad Ahmad lone, 20 S/o Ghulam Rasool lone resident of Hathlangoo Sopore and he identified injured as Rashid Nazir Mir Son of Nazir Ahmad and Mohammad Umar Lone, both residents of Hathlangoo Sopore.
However, among the two injured Rashid Nazir succumbed at Srinagar hospital this morning, the official added.
He said that a case has been registered at police post Warpora and further investigation in this regard has been taken up.
