Mattan youth goes missing, family appeals for his return

Anantnag: A youth from Mattan area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district has gone missing few days back while his family has appealed him to return back.
The family members of youth identified as Zahid Ahmad Teli (20) son of Manoor Ahmad Teli resident of Tolu Ronipora Mattan have appealed to their son to return home and also urged the general public and police to help them in tracing their son.
According to his family, Zahid left home on 24 June morning to play cricket where he usually used to go, however, he did not return home till afternoon.
They said that they contacted him but his phone was off following which they contacted his friends as well their relatives but to no avail.
“We searched for him everywhere but couldn’t get any clue about him after which we have lodged his missing report at police station Mattan,” the family members added.
His family members especially his parents appealed all including militant organizations and others to let him go if he has joined them.
They also appealed to the police and the general public to help them in tracing their beloved son.
A police official while confirming that his missing report has been lodged said that investigations in this regard have been taken up and efforts are on trace him.
