Sonamarg witnesses bustle as visitors trickle in
Ganderbal: After the easing of corona lockdown, light activities have started in famous tourist place Sonamarg in Ganderbal district.
According to details, after the mitigation of the global epidemic corona lockdown by the administration, a light bustle was seen in the tourist spot Sonamarg on Sunday and local tourists from various parts of Srinagar, including children, came for sightseeing.
Men and women were seen relieving the scorching heat on the banks of the Nallah Sindh.
The Corona lockdown was imposed across Jammu and Kashmir due to the increase in cases and deaths due to Corona virus.
People were trapped in their homes, but last week the administration eased the lockdown, after which on Sunday the tourist spot Sonamarg saw the bustle of local tourists and people on the banks of the Nallah Sindh . They were enjoying the sunny weather and the cool atmosphere of the place, a local hotelier said.
Notably, the civil and police authorities posted in the area were monitoring following of SOP’s and other measures.
