Injured soldier from south Kashmir succumbs
Anantnag, Jun 3: A local Army soldier who had sustained injuries after his service rifle went off accidentally yesterday succumbed to his injuries Thursday.
Official sources said that an army soldier identified as Muneer Ramzan Ganaie who was part of 52 Rashtriya Rifles was injured in Sopore where he was posted when his service rifle went off accidentally yesterday.
The army soldier died in the hospital today. After the medico-legal formalities his body has been dispatched to his native village at Larkipora Anantnag. (KNT)
