Adopt a secure data system
It is a matter of grave concern that the national air carrier Air India is facing a sophisticated cyber attack on its service system provider SITA.
The passenger’s information, including name, date of birth, contact information, passport information, ticket information, and credit card data has been leaked in this cyber attack.
The airline advises passengers to change passwords wherever applicable to ensure the safety of their personal data. The concerned authorities should initiate strong action to avoid such incidents in the future and to adopt a more secure data system. The need of the hour is that the national agencies would also work to curb the massive cyber attacks in the country.
