Allah, the almighty has created the beautiful universe with a beautiful Earth which is bestowed with unlimited creations and among them human beings are considered superior among all creations, that’s why human beings are known as (Ashraf Ul Makhlookat).
Almighty Allah has mentioned in his holy book that, Respect and honor all human beings irrespective of their religion, color, race ,sex ,language, status, property, birth, profession and so on.
In this contemporary world there are mainly two classes of people (ie) poor and rich, the one who is financially weak is labeled as poor and the one who is financially strong is labeled as rich. Surely every individual is having a different job or profession to serve their life and family, but unfortunately society is discriminating them on the basis of their job and living of standard so on which is totally disgusting and we must know that actually it is the way Allah (SWT) has created a balanced environment and literally an opportunity for affluent people to spend some wealth on poor to elevate the status in this world and hereafter as well.
Somebody has rightly said that one who has been blessed with financial well being he/she must not raise living of standard instead of that they must raise standard of giving to poor and needy people, while as it has been observed helping poor will not make you poor rather it will make you more strong by all means and gives peace to the mind and also raise sprituality which helps to serve the entire life more comfortably and peacefully.
Being caring and compassionate for one’s fellow human beings is a central part of Islam, If a Muslim feels the pain of his or her fellow human being, and wishes the same comfort and good life for others which he wishes for himself, the poverty stricken people will be diminished within very short span of time.
It is a natural reaction to give in charity, to ease this suffering. Hazrat Ali (AS) said Don’t feel ashamed when giving little for charity that is because there is always goodness in giving no matter how little. It simply means that it is always not important to help with some heavy goods or hefty amount rather a good suggestion on right time is considered a valuable charity.
Likewise politeness and smile is also considered as beautiful charity. One must be always humble, compassionate towards everyone especially to poor and needy people. Being down to the Earth is one of best way to spend your life comfortably and peacefully. Besides this everyone should try to feel the pain of poor people by putting themselves in their positions this technique will make them simply understand the positions and sufferings of poor and destitute people.
We are always free to help poor by multiple ways and every individual can help by different ways to the person, who is lower to his standards, infact it is the duty of every believer to take care of their fellow, neighbors, relatives and destitute people.
Prophet Mohammad (SAW Says, A man is not a believer who fills his stomach while his neighbour is hungry. Amid this Covid 19 the worst circumstances of whole globe which has been badly disturbed with the pandemic had left the people jobless and economy has badly affected obviously people are suffering by different means especially the daily wagers they even don’t find work to serve their family in these tough times.
Without a shadow of doubt millions of poor people are dying because of hunger and malnutrition, their daily food is lagging from nutritious and hygienic foods which affects their important health and leads to various kinds of disease and postural deformities. And couldn’t treat for their ailment sometime, couldn’t afford medicine, tragedy is that sometimes they even can’t think to visit for hospital due lack of transportation in this situation, Moreover, private practitioner Doctors charged them more than there income of daily wage. A poor people always suffers with multiple problems to survive there life until last breath.
Affluent people must help destitute people by providing transport just to reach hospital. It is our duty to look into the matter and check whether they have the basic facilities which are obligatory to serve the life and two times meals to eat or not, obviously in these tough and hard days they may suffer and will not bother to disclose due to several reasons but it is our duty to help them and let them not feel ashamed or embarrassed. Allah swt will surely give reward for this tremendous job.
During festivals poor parents suffers with multiple issue. They can’t buy toys and new attires for their innocent angels, they hardly could arrange just a single dress and new dishes for food. On the other side some affluent people are enjoying their lavishing life and engaged with their families and didn’t bother to help poor of their neighbors.
Imam Ali (RA) said “One who has extra clothes and he comes to know that there is a needy person in his neighborhood and if he does not give his clothes to the needy, Almighty Allah will throw him headlong into Hell.
The annual festival of Eid ul fitra which is celebrated on first day of Shawaal it is recommended to have a bath and say Salah.
After that the matter of fitrah which is Wajib and this is one of the best way to help poor and needy one. Shariah has laid a great stress on it. Neglecting it is a great sin. The person who does not recite the Salwat on the Holy Messenger and his progeny will never have his prayer accepted. Likewise If the Fitrah is not given intentionally then the Fating of Ramadan will come to naught. Ramadan strengthens Taqwa, which is the belief in Allah. So hopefully May Allah (swt) give us the strength to gain the wealth of blessings from this Holy month of Ramadan and save us from this pandemic (Aaamen).
To conclude with emotional words of a poor child in his impaired voice.
Thing is, you have no ability in it if Allah (SWT) has given you wealth. And surely, it is no fault of ours, if we are poor”
