Review vaccination policy
The leaders of the opposition parties are alleging that the Central Government has not learned any lesson from the past and its COVID vaccine policy is arbitrary and discriminatory.
Congress President Sonia Gandhi has claimed that the policy implies that the government has abdicated its responsibility for a free vaccination to all. The Government is allowing profiteering by the companies manufacturing the vaccine in the country.
Recently, the Serum Institute of India has announced that the Covishield vaccine will be sold at rupees four hundred per dose to the state government and rupees six hundred to private hospitals. Vaccine prices may vary in every state. Hope that the Centre should review its vaccination policy and ensure free COVID vaccines to all.
