India needs community support
It is welcome to note that the Uttar Pradesh government has formed monitoring committees in the rural and urban areas of the state to collect door-to-door details of Covid-infected persons and also create awareness for vaccination along with effective prevention.
Here, fifty-nine thousand monitoring committees are working in rural areas and fourteen thousand in urban areas of the state. The monitoring committees are identifying the Covid infected persons and motivating them to get vaccinated.
These committees are also clearing the misconceptions formed in the minds of people regarding the benefits of the vaccine. This is the right step to curb the pandemic. India needs the support of the community to win the war against COVID 19.
