Elderly labourer sustains critical injuries in stone-quarry at Bandipora

Srinagar, Apr 20: A 58-year-old labourer sustained critical injuries after he had a fall at a stone-quarry in Sader Koot Bala area in north-Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

Reports said that the labourer identified as Abdul Rashid Rather, aged 58 years, son of Ghulam Ahmad Rather, a resident of SK Bala fell while working at the stone-quarry.

The elderly labourer sustained critical injuries in the incident and was immediately evacuated to SMHS Hospital Srinagar.

Confirming the incident, a police official said that the labourer sustained injuries after a slip at the site.

Meanwhile, the condition of injured labourer continues to be critical. (GNS)
