Police arrests absconder
Srinagar: Police on Tuesday arrested an absconder from south Kashmir’s Kulgam area. The accused was evading his arrest for a long time.
Acting on reliable information regarding an absconder, a police party raided the specified location and subsequently arrested the absconder from Gufbal Qaimoh. He has been identified as Sayar Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar resident of Mishipora Redwani Qaimoh. He was wanted by law for his involvement in case FIR number 271/2020 U/S 15, 18 NDPS Act of PS Qazigund. Further investigation is in progress, a police spokesman said.
He said that our consistent actions against anti social elements should reassure the community members that we are making every effort to keep our society free of crime. Police has resolved to act as per law against those who indulge in criminal activities, the spokesman added.
