Arms, ammunition recovered from Budgam woods

Budgam: Jammu and Kashmir police on Saturday claimed to have recovered arms and ammunition in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
A police spokesman in a statement said that based on the credible input police along with 53 RR launched a search in the forest area of village Shanipora Khan saab Budgam.
“During search, incriminating material of Lashker-e-Taiba and arms and ammunition were recovered which were kept concealed in a bag beneath the bushes in the said forest area,” the statement said.
The recovery include one Chinese Pistol 9 MM, one UBGL, four UBGL rounds, four Pistol Magazines, three Radio Set Antina, one 09 Volt Battery, three 7.62 mm Rounds, 98b9 mm Rounds and one Bonnet Cover.
Upon this, a police spokesman said that a case under FIR number 44/2021 under relevant sections of law stands registered.
