Multi Linguistics poetic seminar held at BHSS Uri
Baramulla: In connection with the world poetry day, a multi linguistics poetry seminar was organised on Thursday at BHSS Uri in north Kashmir.
The poets and literary persons of Pahari, Gojri, Kashmiri and Urdu languages participated in the function. The poets who attended the seminar were Raja Nazar Bonyari, Attaullah Mumtaz, Taj u Din Tak, Shah Mohammad and other prominent poets and literary personalities hailing from Uri.
The programme was started with the welcome address presented by Bilal Ahmad Dar (Lecturer English) who highlighted the purpose and objectives of organizing the event.
Raja Nazar Boniyari was the Chief Guest on the occasion who described the programme as a source of inspiration for the students.
He said that by organizing such programmes morale of the local poets who rarely find such platforms for presenting their work will witness a boost.
Later SDM Uri, Riyaz Ahmad Malik joined the programme at the concluding stage.
