Arts stream topper wishes to join bureaucracy

Pulwama: The girl from south Kashmir who topped the class 12 results for which were declared on Monday said that she aspires to join the bureaucracy.
Khusboo Nazir daughter of Nazir Ahmad Dar a resident of Shalagam Bijbehara and a student of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Bijbehara secured 100 percent marks and topped the arts stream.
Khusboo Nazir said that though she was sleeping when this news was disclosed to her.
“It was a joyous moment for me and my familyafter knowing that I had secured 100 percent marks,” she said.
“First of all, I am thankful to Allah who made me achieve this feat. Besides that I would like to thank my teachers and parents who supported me in making my dream come true,” she said.
“I am very happy to get 100 percent marks and my aim in life is to become a KAS officer,” she said, adding that she worked very hard and was studying consistently for about five to six hours on daily basis.
“Due to covid-19 and in absence of internet facility we suffered a lot and it was all possible due to the guidance of teachers to achieve this success,” she said.
“My message to the youth of J&K will be to work hard and study consistently so that the dreams become a reality,” she added.
Pertinently, the girls outshined boys and secured top positions in all four streams and 125 girls were among 155 students who got top ten positions.
The pass percentage among girls was 83 percent while as among boys it was 78 percent.
