Militant hideout busted in Awantipora: Police
Srinagar, March 3: Police on Wednesday claimed to have busted a militant hideout in Seer-Pastrana area of south Kashmir’s Awantipora.
Police said that a police team along with along with 42 RR and 180 Bn CRPF launched a search operation in the said area. During search one hideout of outfit Hizb-ul-Mujahideen was busted and subsequently destroyed.
The size of the hideout is approximately 5 ft × 7ft ×4 ft. Incriminating material of proscribed outfit Hizb-ul-Mujahideen and other material like utensils, food items etc has been recovered from the said hideout.
The statement further stated that the material has been taken into Police custody for investigation purpose.
