Youth goes missing in Anantnag, family seeks help in tracing him

Anantnag: A youth from south Kashmir’s Anantnag district has been missing from last 13 days while as his family members on Monday staged a protest outside the Deputy Commissioner’s office here requesting the authorities and public to help in tracing him.
Javaid Ahmad Pathan alias Jeenu Pathan resident of Heaven colony Anantnag has been reported missing since the last 13 days.
His family members and relatives assembled at DC office Anantnag and requested authorities as well as general public to help them in tracing him.
They also raised slogans like “Javid Ahmad ko Dhond Nikalo” and requested authorities and public for help.
His sisters requested authorities to help them in tracing him.
“Even if he is dead at least we should know the details of get his dead body,” they said.
“Everyone please help us in searching him,” said one of his sister, requesting that if he is with police or army, his family should be provided with the details.
The family claimed that Javaid was their lone bread earner and the family stands devastated after he has gone missing.
The family said that they have also filed a missing report at the concerned police station as well.
“We have been moving from pillar to post in order to get any information about him but so far we have failed to get any information,” they said.
A police official said that efforts are on to trace the missing youth.
