Ensure parliamentary etiquette
It is a matter of grave concern that the Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu has warned members against the usage of mobile phones within the House. He mentioned that there is a restriction on the usage of cellular phones within Rajya Sabha chambers.
It has been noticed that some members are using their mobile phones to record proceedings of the house while sitting in the chamber and such conduct is against parliamentary etiquette. This indicates that some members are not concerned about the proceedings of the House.
The session of the House is held for a short time and costs crores of rupees in its operation. Hope that all members should ensure parliamentary etiquette during the proceedings of the House.
