Two drug peddlers arrested
Bandipora: Police in north Kashmir Bandipora district arrested two people and recovered contraband from their possession, a police spokesman said Wednesday.
He said that during a naka checking, two persons were stopped and during frisking 216 capsules of Spasmo Proxyan, Sposmo plus 334 Capsules and Beclan 5 (300 tablets) were recovered from their possession.
The duo was arrested and a formal case vide FIR number 11/2021 under section 8/22 NDPS Act registered against them.
The police official identified the duo as Athar Rasool Wani of Nowpora and Latif Rather, a resident of Gamroo Bandipora.
