Over 45 lac revenue documents digitized in Southern districts

SRINAGAR: Under Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme, over 45 lac revenue documents, pertaining to Anantnag, Pulwama and Shopian districts, have been digitized so far while remaining work will be completed by February 5,2021.
This information was given to Regional Director Survey and Land Records, Dr. Abdul Hafiz Shah at a meeting convened to review the status of the digitization process of revenue documents of Anantnag, Pulwama and Shopian districts.
It was given out that out of total 4562970 documents, 2680470 pertain to Anantnag district, 1382500 to Pulwama district and 5 lac to Shopian district.
The Nodal Officers of district scanning centers were asked to complete the pending work before February 5, 2021 so that 2nd phase of digitization of jamabandi is started in these districts.
