Army major commits suicide in Tangdhar sector
Kupwara, Jan 18: An Army Major allegedly committed suicide on Monday at a forward post in Tangdhar sector in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
A senior official said that an Army Major posted in forward post in Tangdhar sector has committed suicide. He said that the reason behind the suicide was not known immediately.
A senior police officer while confirming the incident, said that a police party has rushed to the spot and more details will be shared accordingly.
“We have learnt about the suicide of an Army Major in a forward area and the police team is on its way to gather the details,” he said—(KNO)
