Tral youth goes missing, family appeals for his return

JaPulwama: A youth from Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district has gone missing few days back while his family appealed him to return back. The family has also requested the administration to help in tracing him.
Aarif Ahmad Sheikh (19) a resident of Monghama village of Tral who was working at an automobile sales outlet has been missing since Friday.
His family members said that on Friday we called him but his phone was switched off and since then there are no traces of him.
“My son would earn whatever he could and bring it to us and he used to come home on every Saturday and I kept waiting for him to return home. We called him multiple times on his phone, but it was all in vain. His number was switched off,” said his mother.
“I plead to all of you, if anyone knows about my son’s whereabouts, let us know. I am waiting for him to return” she said.
Arif’s sister said that her brother was the bread earner of the family and he would come back home every Saturday. After their calls were not answered, the family was worried sick for their son.
On Saturday in the afternoon, Army came here and enquired about him, she said, adding that we have failed to trace him, please help us in tracing him.
“I appeal to the masses if he is somewhere, let us know. Bring him back, please, our mother is sick, he was the only pillar of support both, financially and emotionally for us,” she added.
The family also appealed to the public as well as authorities especially the police to help them to trace out their son.
Meanwhile, a police official said that they are making all out efforts to trace the missing youth.
