Flight operations resume at Srinagar airport after four days
Srinagar, Jan 7: The Srinagar International Airport today received the first flight early in the morning after air services remained suspended for four days due to heavy snowfall and bad weather in Kashmir.
Kashmir remained cut off since Jan 3 with rest of the world as both Air and Road communications remaining suspended.
The BRO looking after the snow clearance of the Srinagar International Airport worked round the clock in ensuring early restoration of the flights, a spokesman of the BRO said.
