Three gamblers arrested with stake money in Ganderbal
GANDERBAL: Police in Ganderbal Monday raided a gambling site at check Yangoora under the jurisdiction of police station Lar and apprehended three gamblers besides seizing stake money.
A police official said that SHO, Police Station Lar, Salfie Arshid under the supervision of Dysp Hqrs. Dr. Abdul Majid Magray, raided a gambling site at check Yangoora and apprehended three gamblers.
The gamblers have been identified as Abdul Rashid Pandith son of Assadullah Pandit resident of Kulpora Safapora , Manzoor Ahmed Bhat son of Abdul Gani Pandit resident of Treesa Safapora and AbdulRashid Mir son of Mohammed Maqbool Mir resident of Bonapora Baroosa Ganderbal and stake money of Rupees 8950 were seized on the spot.
He said that in this connection a case FIR No.01/2021 u/s 13 gambling Act stands registered and investigations have been taken up.
