Jmu-Sgr national highway closed for traffic
Srinagar, Jan 3: The all important Jammu-Srinagar national highway has been closed for traffic, a traffic police spokesman said here on Sunday morning.
The announcement was made following a heavy snowfall in the Pirpanchal range and many other parts of the valley.
Traffic has been closed on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway following heavy snowfall, a tweet by the traffic authorities said.
Meanwhile, it has been snowing moderately across Kashmir valley since early morning. Snowfall has even been recorded in Srinagar city where around three inches of snow have accumulated.
