Forces launch search operation in Rafiabad village

Sopore, Jan 03: Security forces launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Behrampora village of Rafiabad in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district early Sunday.
Reports said a joint team of army’s 22 RR, J&K police and CRPF condoned off Behrampora area and conducted house to house searches in the area. All entry and exit points leading towards the area have been sealed off.
Meanwhile, a police official said that searches in the area were launched following inputs about the presence of militants.
Searches were going on in the area when last reports came in.
