Child Shelter Homes operationalized by ICPS
SRINAGAR: The Integrated Child Protection Services (ICPS) Wednesday operationalized for Boys and Girls in Nowgam and Saidakadal at District Srinagar .
The homes were inaugurated by Mission Director, ICPS Shabnam Shah Kamili.
On the occasion, Principal Magistrate, Srinagar, Tabassum Parray, Chief Education Officer, Srinagar and District Child Protection Officer, Srinagar Ashraf Akhoon, officials from Integrate Child Protection Services and representatives from Civil Societies were present.
Speaking on the event, Mission Director, ICPS highlighted the role of Government is playing in Child Protection Services to reach out to children who are in need of care and protection.
Principal Magistrate, Tabassum Parray said that establishing such child care homes will cater to the needs of orphans and distressed Children who are in need of care and protection.
