Dr.Sheikh Arshid Ahmad
In my entire life I am yearning to what can be the exact platform for the reformation and betterment of myself and for the society, while completely perceiving the veracity of Tableegi Jammat, I left my home to join it with full faith and hoping that my moral crookedness could be corrected and I become ethically sensible.
I yell and scream when I didn’t get my way, as if the way I want is the only way that came true for me, this means a lot to me when I join the Tableegi Jammat to let down all social pressures and frustrations and treading now on positive and self cognitive way is the ultimate hope.
At the beginning the few days were observed full of perplexity, the things and activities were with little or immature understanding of what I actually want to do and what I need but the concept of Dawah work and good company of “Sathis” around gave me some kind happy moments , hopeful and virtuously goal oriented future.
The times are passing smoothly with moments of praying “Nimaz” will great faith and zeal and zest, replaced all world affairs and intentions with firm belief of Almighty Allah, his direct help (Nusrat) and something special that removed my parity intermittently with broken feelings.
Joy with hope of getting back on track, remain busy energetically and enthusiastically with virtuous and good deeds throughout the day and night along with five times “Nimaz” adhering with foremost Takbeer.
The schedule in Tableegi Jammat starts like this that after “Eisha Nimaz” Ameer ( leader) of Jammat doing deliberations with each and every person (Sathis) by taking views to frame the time table for Qayam-u-llayel (Awaking at night), usually time for awakening at night starts from 9:30 with a duration of one and half an hour for every single or couple of “Sathis” upto the start of “Fajr Nimaz”.
In Qayam-u-llayel “Sathi” is praying” Nafel” upto 6 to 8 rakats, zikr for half an hour, recitation of Quran and dua. This norm goes on for each “Sathi” throughout the night till call of Mozin. After “Fajr Nimaz” there is congregational Zikr and virtuous deeds along with the local worshipers this period possess all sorts of pure intentions and full concentration towards the supremacy of Almighty Allah.
After this period there is “Fajar Bayan” by a single “Sathi” that encompasses exuberantly talking about “Eeman” and sacrifices of “Suhabbas” for only half an hour. Then the all” Sathis” stand up for the ” Ishraq prayer” and on the call of cook (Khidmat walla) all “Sathis” sit around the Dastarkhan (Table cloth) for breakfast.
After these deeds the Ameer of the Jammat arranges Mushwara (Deliberations) to decide the assignment (Amoor) of each and every “Sathi” while taking the views from the ” Sathis”. In Mushwara Ameer is deciding about the time of teachings- Taleem (reading of Muntakhib Ahadees with three sections of Quran recitation, virtues of doing deeds and discussion of “Six Principles” (Kalimah (Declaration of faith), Salah (Prayer), Ilm-o-zikr (Knowledge), Ikraam-e-Muslim (Respect of Muslim), Ikhlas-e-Niyyat (Sincerity of intention), Dawat-o-Tableegh (Proselytizaton)) upto 12:30pm.
After there is lunch time (Toam) upto 1:15pm along with Qilulah (sleeping for few minutes after lunch). On the call of Mozin all “Sathis” do the preparation of “Zuhar Nimaz” after this Nimaz there is again short Bayaan which includes the realm of “Hijrat and Nusrat of all Suhabbas”.
To increase the knowledge of Sunnah, Islam and other related activities of the Deen there is teaching and learning process which proves to be fruitful and docile for each and every “Sathi”. After this period, on the advice of Ameer, all Sathi go for sleep upto to “Asar Nimaz”.
After Asar Nimaz there is another Bayaan on “Gushta and its virtues”. In Gushta four Jammats are to be framed two are working inside the Masjid and two are outside. Among insider’s Jammat one is doing dua for doers of “Gushta” and for whole world and other is doing “Midst Bayaan” on the purpose of life and benefits of hereafter life. The outsider’s Jammat, one among them is welcoming all the worshipers at doorsteps of Masjid and other one is doing “Gushta” to the selected Mohalla of the village in which systematically (Mutakalim, rehbar and zimadar Sathis) are arranged as per Sunnah of prophet Muhammad (SAW) and all Messengers of Allah. This activity goes on for the duration of one hour and the purpose of this is to call the local people in the Masjid and contemplation of Deen if time saves there upto to “Magrib Nimaz” all Sathis remain busy with Zikr.
After Magrib Nimaz, there is another Bayaan that includes Eemanic talk and sacrifices of Suhabbas and earnestly and persistently urging present gathering to be ready in the path of Allah for four months or fourty days to revive their Eeman.
This time is crucial for Jammat with heartfelt thinking and working hard that everyone of the gathering should get ready to go in the path of Allah. After this straight away the “Sathis” go outside in pairs for Mulakat (meeting individually the locals) to persuade them again to go in the path of Allah if persuasion becomes successful then the “Meeting pair” get some Wasooli ( money) or blanket for getting confirmation that the person is now ready for giving time in the path of Allah. This activity continues upto “Eisha Nimaz”, after this all “Sathis” go for dinner and then Ameer of the Jammat arranges all “Sathis” to recapitulate all the day’s work of Dawah along with the discussion of the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Final activity of the day is framing time for Qayam-u-llayel (Awakening of night) every one examines the day’s work if it is done without breaking the principles and morality. On finding some kind of weaknesses and breaching of principles of Dawah every one repents to Allah with cold sighs and tearful eyes during Qayam-u-llayel.
Observing that the “Sathis” are doing toiled work for the spread of betterment of Deen among the people with profuse sweating flowing from their bodies ,waking early in the morning and do exactly what they want, when they want and why they want. On watching these “Sathis” are praising the Almighty Allah and work without having a bit envious of deed for other partners of Jammat.
The desire of my life is to find a stable schedule where i have to go and work around other people for their betterment especially to be morally good. Oftentimes I found myself in emotional breakups and shattered but working with the Tableegi Jammat I saw everywhere happiness, togetherness in walking, eating, discussion, deliberations etc. I also feel relaxed and a new joy came into my life, always there is a brain wave for future planning’s how to remain on this path.
The only hope for the parents and common people that joining Tableegi Jammat is first line defense from deteriorating the career of children and this is known as hedonic adaptation and its effect goes deep into the roots where happiness and contentment are prevalent features.
We are all stuck in a cycle of pursuing material things that will bring us temporary—although hollow—joy and temporal satisfaction, these are only ways of fulfillment of satanic desires. We had to adopt in a lifestyle where we can avail heaps of happiness and permanent joy without fluctuating in abundance of frustration and lack of stability just like all the “Suhabbas” have done in their own time. The celebrating of simplicity is the normal range of Deen It has removed all worldly desires among ancient people overall results in happiness and prosperity.
Moreover ,we can do with gratitude that start appreciating your life with full consent of Almighty Allah and Prophet Muhammad ( SAW) but get off the wheel of life of chasing what’s next about world affairs. Concentrate on the things which can satisfy your life with eternal joy in hereafter life and will leave you satisfied and hopeful forever.
