Notorious drug peddler along with heroin held in Sopore
Sopore: Police on Wednesday arrested a notorious drug peddler from Warpora area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A police official said that, while acting on inputs police at Warpora arrested notorious drug peddler identified as Nazir Ahmad Bhat S/O Mohammad Shaban Bhat resident of Budshah Mohalla Dangarpora Sopore.
Seven grams of heroin and cash amount of rupees 50300 was also recovered from his possession, the official added.
He said that a case under FIR No. 346/2020 U/S 8/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Sopore and investigation has been taken up.
