Amid heavy rains, forces launch search operation in Sopore village

Sopore, Dec 08: Amid heavy rains security forces launched a Cordon and Search operation in Guripora Bomai area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday.
Reports said a joint team of army 22 RR, J&K police and CRPF condoned off Guripora Bomai area and conducted house to house searches.
Meanwhile, a police offial said that search operation was launched following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Searches were going on in the area when last reports came in.
