Files nomination from Sangrama Baramulla
Srinagar: PAGD candidate for DDC polls for Sangrama 9 constituency in Baramulla, Suhail Bukhari on Thursday filed his nomination.
Addressing workers Suhail Bukhari, who is also spokesperson of PDP said that these DDC elections are being fought directly fought by the people as the political parties in Jammu and Kashmir have got united for a cause to fight the communal forces.
“These elections are being fought to secure our identity, rights and our due place that has been snatched from us. It was through deceit that our rights have been snatched by the rightwing parties and now the elections have come as an opportunity for the people here to give them a befitting reply,” he added.
Bukhari said that the government at the Union level wanted us to stay away from the elections and get their ‘B’ teams who have entered our rows using treachery to capture the democratic institutions here.
“However, our participation in the elections has demolished all their plans and God willing the PAGD candidates will emerge victorious with a thumping majority. The people have decided to reply to the nefarious designs of the right wing parties and they will show them their due place when the election results will be announced,” Bukhari added.
