DC Ang briefs media about demolition drive at Phalagam
ANANATNAG: The Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, K K Sidha Tuesday briefed the media persons about the demolition drive launched by District Administration at Pahalgam to retrieve the encroached forest and state land.
He also brief them about the preparedness of District Administration for ensuing adequate availability of food grains, drinking water, road connectivity, power supply, health facilities and other essential services during winter months.
He said that a Control Room has been setup in the district to ensure that grievances of the public are heard and redressed promptly by timely intervention of the authorities wherever the need arises.
The DC also highlighted the importance of adherence to covid-19 protocol and SOP’s in view of checking the spread of infection wave and stressed upon the media fraternity to disseminate this message to all for larger public interest.
