Burglars decamp with transformers from Shopian masjids
Shopian: Burglars entered into a mosque in Gagran area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district and stole two transformers, locals said.
They said that the theft took place at Jamiat Ahalhadith Masjid Gagran.
“Two transformers have been stolen,” he said adding that a complaint has been lodged in the local police station.
The locals said they believe it is the handiwork of drug addicts. “It is not the question of money but speaks a lot about the degrading morality in society,” they said and appealed people to contact on 9797058741, if they have any information about it. (KNT)
