Upper reaches in Ganderbal receive fresh snowfall
KANGAN: Fresh snowfall on the high mountains of Sonamarg and its suburbs in this central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district has once again triggered a cold wave.
According to the details, fresh but light snowfall on the high mountains of Sonamarg, Gagangir, Zojila, Minamarg, Gund, Kullan and its suburbs on Saturday morning increased the chill in these areas.
Meanwhile, traffic on 434 km long Srinagar-Leh highway continued uninterrupted.
The Meteorological Department has forecasted dry weather till November 4.
