Three houses gutted, two partially damaged in Sopore blaze

Sopore: Three residential houses was completely damaged and two other were partially damaged in Neharpora area of Sopore town in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district late Wednesday evening during a blaze.
Reports said that a massive fire broke out in the double storey residential house of Ghulam Nabi Shah. The fire also spread to two other nearby houses belonging to Abdul Majeed Shah and Reyaz Ahmad Shah.
The incident left all the three house damaged as property worth lakhs was also damaged, however two other houses belongs to Ali Muhammad Shah and Bashir Ahmad Shah were also partially damaged in the mishap.
Thankfully, no loss of life or injury was reported in the mishap, locals said.
Meanwhile, locals demand that government should rehabilitate and provide compensation to the affected families before the onset of winter season.
