Islamophobia—An exaggerated fear, hatred, and hostility toward Islam and Muslims that is perpetuated by negative stereotypes resulting in bias, discrimination, and the marginalization and exclusion of Muslims from social, political, and civic life…
Those who mock our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) have never met His teachings and his wisdom but they are fully aware of him through our day to day actions. So, we as Muslims have totally failed to convey the True Massage of Islam to them, which results in occurrence of such events.
Today the Muslims are way too diverted from even basics of religion and the teachings of our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Rather we have intermingled our ways of behaving, living, with the non believers. Our hearts are filled with hatred for each other in the name of mere a sect or faith.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) a mercy for all Creation, a mercy for the believers, a mercy towards his enemies, a mercy for women, a mercy for children, a mercy for animals. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH ) was the kindest of men in the same way as he excelled all others in courage and valor.
Being extremely kind-hearted, his eyes brimmed with tears at the slightest sign of inhumanity… Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) won the hearts of the people by the standard of his characters and we failed to act the same way. There lived an old woman in Mecca who did not like the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) much at all. Every day as Muhammad (PBUH) passed the old woman’s house on his way to pray, she would throw rubbish out of her window onto his head.
Yet Muhammad (PBUH ) would never complain. He would simply continue on his journey as if nothing had happened….This continued, day after day, until one day, Muhammad passed by the old woman’s house and, to his surprise, no rubbish landed on his head. Muhammad (PBUH) looked around to see where the old woman was.
When he couldn’t see her he became concerned so he went to the front door of the woman’s house and knocked….Come in” said a weak and feeble voice …When Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) entered, he found the old woman in bed looking scared. Was Muhammad (PBUH ) going to shout at her or punish her for throwing rubbish on his head every day?…“Don’t be scared” said Prophet Muhammad (PBUH ), “I’m not here to shout at you Muhammad (PBUH) quickly realized that the old woman was very ill and unable to leave her bed. He therefore set about cleaning her house and making sure she had everything she needed to be comfortable. The old woman was so impressed by Muhammad’s (PBUH) behavior that she decided never to throw rubbish on his head ever again and accepted Islam……
As Muslims we should love our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and study his biography, convey the Message of Islam to others and act upon the teachings of Islam both by words and actions. We should avoid and stay away from such social media posts….media debates and gatherings where they insult our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)…we should simply part our ways with such spots socially, economically as well as politically….
Such insults cannot change the status of our beloved Prophet (PBUH) in the least. Allah (SWT) is All-Sufficient to protect His beloved Messenger Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Almighty Allah (SWT) says:
“Truly! We will suffice you against the scoffers.” (Al-Hijr 15:95)
But such insults are a clear warning from Allah (SWT) to His salves about their failure to convey the Message of Islam…. Social media remain confined to digital platforms, we must rectify our day to day life according to teachings of Allah ( SWT ) and his Messenger Prophet Muhammad ( PBUH )…..May Allah guide us all on the right path…!!
