Summoning Farood Abdullah to ED’ “political vendetta”: Omar Abdullah
Srinagar, Oct 19: Soon after former chief minister Dr Farooq Abdullah was summoned by Enforcement Directorate at its Srinagar offfice, vice president National Conference Omar Abdullah termed the move a “political vendetta”.
Omar while taking to micro-blogging site twitter said, “The party will be responding to this ED summons shortly. This is nothing less than political vendetta coming days after the formation of the People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration. To set the record straight no raids are being conducted at Dr Sahib’s residence”.
Pertinently, all regional mainstream political parties including NC and PDP avowed to continue their fight for restoration of Article 370 and renamed the Gupkar Declaration to Peoples Alliance for Gupkar Declaration. The meet was conducted two days after the release of former chief minister and PDP president Mehbooba Mufti. (KNS)
