Srinagar: Unknown gunmen on Thursday evening fired upon a youth at Kakapora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Official sources said that unknown gunmen fired upon Tanveer Sofi at Kakapora near J&K Bank. The attack left him seriously injured. He was immediately removed to Srinagar hospital for treatment.
Sources said that Tanveer is a former militant. Soon after the attack whole area has been cordoned off.(GNS)
