NC seeks replenishment of medical supplies in hospitals

MENDHAR: Senior National Conference (NC) leader Javed Rana Tuesday urged the administration to replenish medical supplies in peripherial hospitals to meet the challenge by COVID-19, saying the non-availability of life saving supplies like oxygen is washing out the entire effort being put in by the medics and para-medical at the peril of their own and their families lives.
Addressing party functionaries, Javed Rana said that maintenance of oxygen supplies and functional ventilators are main components to fight corona virus besides various other ailments of serious nature.
He added that ground realities should be taken into account and effective measures need be taken, that too on an immediate basis to steer out the hospitals to functional mode instead of remaining in deplorable condition due to deficiencies, he said.
He hailed the COVID-19 warriors saying that they have emerged as a source of inspiration by remaining steadfast in this fight against the virus. He said the people salute their valour and resilience.
Javed Rana also dwelt upon problems faced to the people and urged the administration to ensure that basic necessities are made available and utility services made functional to mitigate the sufferings of the border dwellers. He also called for ensuring regulated water and power supply to the people.
