Police official injured in road mishap at Sopore
Sopore: A police officer sustained injuries in a road mishap in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday morning.
Reports said an accident took place at Model town area near bypass road when a four wheeler private car was hit by an unknown speedy vehicle.
The accident left the official injured and he was later taken to sub district hospital Sopore where doctors referred him Srinagar for advanced treatment.
Hospital authorities identified the injured police officer as ASI Ghulam Nabi Hajam.
Meanwhile, a police officer said that a case has been registered and further investigation has been initiated.
