Kashmir valley to witness rains, snowfall
Srinagar: The weatherman here has predicted light rainfall and light snow in higher reaches and stated that the Western Disturbance will hit Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.
A fresh western disturbance will likely bring rain or snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, Deputy Director Meteorological department, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad said.
He added that very light rainfall would occur in plains while there is possibility of very light snowfall in higher reaches at isolated to scattered places as well.
Ahmad also said that reports of rainfall from south Kashmir districts were received this evening, but it was due to a local development only and was not part of Western Disturbance.
He further said that the weather conditions would improve from Sunday morning. (KNO)
