Youth killed, 2 persons injured in road mishap in Lolab
Kupwara, Sep 24: A 25-year-old youth was killed and two other persons injured after a tractor they were travelling in fell down from a culvert in Lolab area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday.
Official sources said that the accident took place at Thayan Kalaroose area of Lolab Thursday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Farooq Ahmad Mir (25) son of Ghulam Qadir Mir of Thayan Kalaroose.
The injured have been identified as Manzoor Ahmad Dar (24) son of Ghulam Rasool Dar and Bashir Ahmad Mir son of Mohammad Akbar Mir. Both were shifted to local hospital and may be shifted to Srinagar for advanced treatment, they added. (GNS)
