Anantnag: A youth from Dehruna area in Kokernag belt of Anantnag has gone missing from the last seven days while as his relatives have appealed him to return back.
Talib Ahmad Bhat (21) son of Late Mohammad Ayoub Bhat, a resident of Dehruna in south Kashmirs Anantnag according to his relatives went missing few days back and since then there are no traces of him.
His relatives said that they have contacted all his friends and acquaintances but have not been able to trace him, forcing them to lodge a missing report with the police.
They said that his father and mother have already died and he has no one to look or take care of him.
However, he was living at his maternal home and was putting with his grandmother.
They added that his relatives are shocked after they came to know about an audio that has gone viral wherein Talib announced that he has joined militant ranks.
His maternal aunt said that they never expected this step from him while appealing him to return back.
She appealed militant organizations to let him go back to take care of his family affairs as he is the lone surviving member of his family.
As per locals, Talib’s father also lost his life during a violent incident few years back.
