Carpenter falls off Masjid Minaret in Anantnag village, dies
Veering, Sep 13: A Carpenter slipped to death during construction of the Minaret of a Masjid in Nowgam area of Verinag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday morning.
A police official told that the carpenter identified as Mohammad Yousuf Dar son of Mohammed Ambar Dar a resident of Khudwani Kulgam fell while working at the minaret of a Masjid in Nowgam, resulting in his on spot death.
“The body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites. Police has started inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC in this regard,” police officer said—(KNO)
