Local’s stage protest as minor crushed to death in Qazigund
Qazigund: A seven-year-old girl was crushed to death on Thursday while the locals staged protest against the incident in Damjan village of Qazigund in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Police sources said that a tractor (without registration number) crushed a seven-year-old girl to death near Damjan. They identified the deceased girl as Zareena Jan, daughter of Shabir Ahmad Bhat of Damjan Qazigund.
Soon after the incident, the locals blocked the link road at Damjan on which these tractors ply carrying construction material.
Locals demanded that road must be blocked for heavy traffic. (KNO)
