Drugs, Charas recovered in Sopore
Sopore: Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested four notorious drug peddlers in north Kashmir’s Sopore area.
A police official said that during a naka checking at Hathlangoo area of Sopore the police party apprehended four notorious drug peddlers who were identified as Naseer Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Ahmad Dar, Abdul Hamid Lone son of Late Habibullah Lone both the residents of Hathlangoo Sopore, Jahangir Ahmad Malla son of Mohammad Shaban Malla and Khurshid Ahmad Dar son of Mohammad Ramzaan Dar both residents of Muqam Shaheed Mir.
He said that 300 grams of Charas and 15 bottles of Codiene phosphate were recovered from their possession which they are going to sell among the youth of Warpora and adjoining areas.
The official said that a case FIR No. 240/2020 U/S 8/20, 22, 29 has been registered in Police Station Sopore and further investigation have been set into motion.
